About This Product:
Since 1960, the Ford Falcon has held a revered place as part of Australia’s legendary motoring culture.
From the early American influenced Falcons of the 60’s and then the ‘Aussie’ designed, developed and built Falcons in the early 70’s, from the XA right through to FG X in 2016, the various generations and iterations of the Falcon were a mainstay on roads and race tracks across Australia and New Zealand, with over 3 million models sold during its lifetime.
So it was no surprise that when it was announced that the Falcon nameplate was going to cease production and be retired, fans of the blue oval expected something special to send the flagship model off with a bang.
Ford didn’t disappoint, delivering a special Falcon named the XR Sprint - a limited edition collector’s car released in both their trademark XR8 and XR6 options.
Dubbed by Ford as “Unlike any Falcon ever seen before. A truly memorable vehicle that highlights the sheer passion of the Ford team and the dedication to create an unforgettable vehicle for Falcon fans”. The Sprint was limited to only 750 XR8 versions and 500 XR6 versions, with each edition coming with an individually numbered plaque on the engine. A truly unique muscle car to carry the mantle as the last Falcon.
Ford claimed the flagship XR8 Sprint was the most powerful Falcon ever, boasting a Supercharged V8 capable of punching out 345kW of power and 575Nm of torque with transient overboost for up to 55kW and 75Nm more power and torque. A 6-speed manual transmission was standard with an automatic 6-speed transmission with sequential sports shift an option.
The exterior of the XR8 featured a distinct side decal which matched the Silhouette Black painted roof and side mirrors as well as a signature bonnet design, incorporating a raised ‘power dome’ - a special nod to the power of the V8 engine living underneath. Unique Gold finished Brembo brakes sat behind gloss black 19” alloy wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tyres for total performance which finished the exterior off with the right balance of flair and subtleness. Custom branded seats, gear knob and badges rounded out some of the extra special finishing touches a special collector’s car such as this would demand.
Ford fans have been requesting the FG X XR Sprint be produced in scale model form since the 1:1 version was released and we’re incredibly proud to bring you this very significant and important model for collectors.
Scheduled to be produced by Authentic Collectables in die-cast with opening parts and high detail, the first edition in our Sprint range will be the XR8 in the truly ‘Ford’ colour scheme - Kinetic Blue, coming in an exclusive limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

If a model car is marked as a future release on our website then please enquire about placing a pre-order with your local model car / hobby stockist as soon as possible.
Please note, all stockists are seperate businesses to Authentic Collectables, we are suppliers to them. Each stockist has different ways of how they accept pre-orders for future release models.

Register Your Interest For Model Cars Here On Our Website:
You can also register your interest for future model car releases online with us to be notified when they are released.
To do this you need to navigate to the product page of the specific model you're interested in.
Once you're on the model product page, please click on the black 'Register Your Interest' tab which should appear on the right hand side of your screen on each future release product page on our website, enter your email in the relevant section and submit the form.
When the model arrives in stock you will receive an advanced email notification from us letting you know that it is in stock with a link to complete and pay for your order while stock lasts.
Please ensure your email address is right before submitting the register your interest form. Unfortunately a confirmation email isn't sent when you register your interest for models on our website, the only time the system will email you about that specific model will be when it arrives in stock.
We offer this option due to the amount of time models generally take to produce (usually 6-18 months) so you're not out of pocket until the model actually arrives.

For Future Release Prints, Books + Other Products:
Depending on the type of product or brand, we also offer a paid pre-order option on our website.
If a product is available for paid pre-order on our website then you will be able to add it to your cart and purchase it like any normal in stock item.
Details about the pre-order will be listed at the top of the product description if it’s available and when we expect it to arrive in our warehouse.
A paid pre-order option will only ever be available on our website for products that aren’t models - we usually use this feature for prints, books and other non-model products.
We offer the paid pre-order option online with us for these products because we can predict production and shipping times more accurately and are usually much faster than the model cars to produce.
Of course, if you wish to order these items from your local stockist, please make an enquiry with them.

For All In Stock Products:
If a product is in stock then it should now be available at your local Authentic Collectables stockist or you can shop online directly with us and it will usually be shipped on the next business day unless otherwise stated or it's a holiday period.
Yes we ship internationally.
