1996 Bathurst 1000 Winner Tribute Livery Exclusive Edition Launched - Available This Week
Authentic Collectables are excited to reveal a very special Imagination Project release celebrating Craig Lowndes and Greg Murphy’s iconic 1996 Bathurst 1000 victory, produced exclusively for the 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000.
In 1996, history was made at Mount Panorama when Lowndes and Murphy claimed their first Bathurst 1000 victory together, beginning two remarkable legacies at the Great Race. Thirty years later, we’re celebrating that memorable win with a new addition to our Imagination Project series.
Originally appearing on the Holden Racing Team VR Commodore, the unmistakable white and blue livery featuring the helmet and lion motif has been carefully recreated in-house by the Authentic Collectables research and development team and reimagined to fit the modern Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Supercar.
With the Gen3 Camaro racing at Mount Panorama during the 30th anniversary year of the 1996 victory, it presented the perfect opportunity for one of Australian motorsport’s most recognisable liveries to inspire a unique modern tribute.
Produced as a high-detail 1:18 scale die-cast model with opening parts, this exclusive edition is limited to just 161 pieces worldwide. It is officially licensed by GM and endorsed by Craig Lowndes and Greg Murphy, with every model including an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by both drivers.
Due to the extremely limited production run, purchases are strictly limited to one model per customer.
